About Event
Part of the London Pattern Club Summer School.
Our final Summer School workshop will focus on live-coding visuals - a style of live performance that involves writing code to create visuals in real time. This practice typically takes place at an algorave, in which live-coded visuals are projected onto a surface to accompany live-coded music.
This workshop will be facilitated by Bogdan Vera and v buckenham. The first half will introduce Hydra, a popular browser-based tool for live-coding visuals. In the second half, Bogdan and v will be demonstrating their own custom tools for live-coding visuals - Voxelchant, created by Bogdan, and picodevil, created by v.
