San Diego Climate Week - Kiss the Ground Film Screening & Networking
What can we learn from the way we care for our planet—and from each other?
Let's be honest. Carrying the weight of the climate crisis and everything else happening in the world can feel like a lot. That's why we invite you to join Women in Cleantech & Sustainability (WCS) during San Diego Climate Week for an inspiring evening of film, relaxation, and friendship with fellow climate- and sustainability-minded community members.
We’ll come together to watch Kiss the Ground (45 minutes), an uplifting documentary exploring regenerative agriculture, soil health, and climate solutions. After the screening, we’ll have the opportunity to reflect and network, with icebreakers and conversation prompts to help attendees connect and exchange ideas.
We’ll also introduce WCS and share ways to get involved through membership, volunteering, and our local community.
So come kick back with a cider, relax, and feel inspired by the amazing work happening in our community and beyond to mitigate climate change. There's a lot of good happening, and tonight's about celebrating it together.

Admission: Free — donations welcome.
Where: : We’re grateful to Bivouac Adventure Lodge for hosting our community. The venue is dog and family-friendly. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic options will be available for purchase. We encourage attendees to support the venue by purchasing food and drinks during the event and enjoying what they have to offer.
Getting There: Street and nearby off-street parking are available, but parking may be limited. We encourage attendees to arrive early or carpool. The venue is also accessible via the 2 and 6 bus lines.
