Build Real Solutions for Real Companies: Humane Tech Implementation Day
Join us for an intensive day of building working solutions for 3-5 partner companies who need help solving their humane technology challenges — here in San Francisco's SOMA district.
This isn't your typical hackathon. You'll be working directly with companies that have identified specific pain points where their current tech doesn't align with human well-being. Your goal: get a functional solution deployed to their development server by end of day. These companies believe in your ability to solve problems they can't crack internally.
The Challenge
Partner companies will present real problems they're facing:
AI systems that optimize for engagement over user well-being
User interfaces that create anxiety or overwhelm
Business models that conflict with human-centered values
Products that fragment rather than strengthen relationships
Technology that extracts rather than nurtures
You'll form teams based on which company challenges resonate most with you, then spend the day building solutions they can actually implement.
What Makes This Different
Real impact: Companies are committed to implementing viable solutions
Live deployment: Get your code running on their servers before you leave
Direct feedback: Company stakeholders will be present throughout the day
Ongoing partnership: Best solutions may lead to ongoing collaboration opportunities
Practical constraints: Work within their existing tech stacks and business realities
What You'll Do
Morning briefings: Hear directly from company representatives about their specific challenges and constraints
Team formation: Choose which company problem you want to tackle and find your collaborators
Build with purpose: Create solutions using humane tech principles that can actually ship
Deploy live: Get your solution running on company infrastructure
Present results: Demo your working solution to company leadership
Plan next steps: Discuss implementation roadmap and potential ongoing involvement
