About Event

Join us for an unforgettable evening at The University of Tulsa with a special screening of Show Her the Money, followed by an inspiring panel featuring our JOLT Signature Speaker, Producer and Creator Catherine Gray, as well as founders + funders in the Tulsa ecosystem.

Show Her the Money is an award-winning documentary that exposes the gender gap in venture capital funding, where women receive less than 2% of all VC investment, and introduces the founders and investors working to change that reality.

This isn't just a film screening. It's a movement.

What You'll Experience:

🎬 Film Screening
Watch the powerful 90-minute documentary that's sparking conversations about who gets funded and why. Through intimate storytelling and eye-opening data, you'll meet the women entrepreneurs fighting for capital and the investors championing change.

💬 Live Panel Discussion
Hear from local and national leaders in venture capital, including Catherine Gray, entrepreneurship, and innovation as they discuss:

  • The current state of VC funding for women and underrepresented founders

  • Barriers to accessing capital and how to break them down

  • Opportunities to participate in the innovation economy as a founder, funder, or ecosystem builder

  • Real strategies for navigating the funding landscape

Featured Panelists:

🤝 Networking
Connect with entrepreneurs, investors, students, faculty, and community members who are passionate about building a more inclusive innovation ecosystem in Tulsa and beyond.

Who Should Attend:

  • Current students exploring entrepreneurship, investing, or careers in innovation

  • Aspiring and current founders seeking capital or learning about funding strategies

  • Investors and ecosystem builders committed to equity

  • Anyone curious about venture capital and how to access it

Why This Matters:
Venture capital shapes what gets built and who gets to build it. By understanding how capital flows and where it doesn't, we can change the trajectory of innovation, wealth creation, and opportunity.

This event is FREE and open to all - registration is required.
