Presented by 99 YARDS, IFD & Mind Your Fashion, the event brings together designers, entrepreneurs, sustainability leaders, and fashion professionals for an afternoon and evening of education, brand discovery, meaningful conversation, and creative expression.

Tony Henry

Tony Henry is a New York-based fashion producer, entrepreneur, and founder of 99 YARDS. With more than a decade of experience across fashion, film, production, and brand development, Tony creates experiences that connect emerging talent, industry professionals, and creative communities.

Britta (Sautter) Cabanos

Britta Cabanos is a fashion-design leader, educator, and founder of Inside Fashion Design and the Conscious Fashion Design Academy. With more than 30 years of experience working with brands including Nike Swim, Oakley, Perry Ellis International, Tommy Hilfiger, and DKNY, she now helps independent designers build conscious, sustainable, and future-ready fashion businesses.         YAY Yushkova is a fashion-business consultant, designer, and founder of Yushkova Design Inc. With more than 25 years of industry experience, she helps fashion brands develop sustainable products, strengthen merchandising strategies, improve supply chains, reduce waste, and build profitable businesses designed for long-term growth.

        Peter McLaughlin

        Peter is a Design Director and Sustainability Strategist whose career spans Versace, Tommy Hilfiger, Elie Tahari, Jennifer Lopez, and Ellen DeGeneres. He holds a Master of Sustainability from Harvard, teaches Design Systems in the Parsons MFA program, and previously taught sustainable fashion at Harvard Extension School. His consulting work has driven circular-economy partnerships (including resale and recycling programs with Archive and SuperCircle) for brands like A.L.C. He's also VP of Client Success at Seed Consulting Group, supporting sustainability-focused nonprofits, and co-hosts The Fashion Situation Room Podcast. His focus: helping brands make smarter, more sustainable decisions that future-proof their business.

        Kesi Gibson

        Kesi Gibson is an entrepreneur, investor, and sustainable-fashion advocate whose work connects ethical design, global supply chains, and inclusive economic development. She is the founder of Kyu Melange, a purpose-driven fashion brand advancing ethical sourcing, sustainable design, and long-term wealth creation for artisan communities. Her understanding of responsible production is rooted in her Jamaican upbringing, where she witnessed her family transform a local fashion and manufacturing business into an international operation. Through Club Debut, Kesi also helps fashion and creative entrepreneurs build scalable, commercially sustainable businesses. Drawing on nearly two decades of experience across investment banking, private equity, entrepreneurship, and global development, she works to prove that fashion can generate both economic value and meaningful social impact.

        Mahrang Anwer

        is a Lahore-based artist, designer, and educator whose practice spans fashion, visual art, and interdisciplinary research. She studied Fashion Design at the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) and earned a diploma from École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in Paris. Mahrang’s work navigates the intersections of heritage, sustainability, and contemporary design. She founded Color Coded Crime, a sustainable South Asian heritage brand, and continues to operate at the boundary of fashion, textile, and fine art. Her work has been exhibited internationally at Friday Gallery, Los Angeles; VASL x British Council, Karachi; Gasworks, London; and the NCA Triennale, Lahore, and she participated in the Lahore Biennale 2020. Alongside her artistic practice, she teaches textile and fashion at the National College of Arts (NCA) and serves as creative director of her brand, advancing sustainable approaches within South Asian design and craft. Her practice consistently foregrounds material intelligence, cultural memory, and environmental responsibility.

        Panel 2: From Waste to Worth—Closing Fashion’s Loop

        Moderator: Liz Alessi

        Liz is a circular-design and materials strategist with more than 20 years of leadership experience at Limited Brands, Coach, Marc Jacobs, and Tapestry, where she served as Vice President of Sourcing. At Coach, she led global materials strategy, helped launch Coach ReLoved—transforming repairs and obsolete inventory into new value—and served as a founding leader of Coachtopia, guiding material innovation and closed-loop strategies. In 2021, she founded a consultancy advising brands, startups, and investors on circular design, next-generation materials, scalable recovery systems, and sustainable technologies. Her work bridges creativity, responsibility, and commercial strategy to help fashion move beyond intention toward measurable, lasting change.

        Denis Gorbylev

        Denis Gorbylev is a record-holding solo ocean rower, explorer, and environmental advocate whose extraordinary journeys reveal both the power and fragility of our oceans. In 2023, he completed an unsupported solo crossing of the Atlantic from Portugal to French Guiana in just 66 days—the fastest recorded solo crossing of that route. Through his “Rowing for Life” campaign, Denis transforms what he witnessed and recovered at sea into a powerful call for action, confronting audiences with the human impact of plastic pollution and inspiring greater responsibility for the planet we share.

        Jennifer Wang

        Jennifer Wang is the CEO of Full Cycle Resource Consulting and a waste-management researcher focused on textile reuse and circularity. Drawing on more than a decade of international experience, she studies the environmental, economic, and social impact of the global secondhand-clothing trade and advocates for data-driven waste-management systems.

        Bridgett Artise

        Bridgett Artise, Author and Designer of Born Again Vintage, Founder at Sustainable Fashion Week, Educator at FIT NYC & Vogue College of Fashion. Bringing Sustainable Fashion to the forefront of the Fashion World, where it needs to be.
        Born-Again Vintage Book in stores NOW. SFW US, is a traveling platform dedicated to advancing sustainability through fashion, education, innovation, and community engagement. Through runway experiences, workshops, panel discussions, mentorship, and industry partnerships, SFW US celebrates designers, students, and changemakers creating positive environmental and social impact.
