About Event

This fireside chat brings founders, operators, and built‑environment leaders together for a practical, candid conversation on how clean energy, data, and AI are reshaping real estate economics.

Lorna Walker will share real‑world lessons from building ventures at the intersection of property, energy, and technology, and what it takes to turn decarbonisation into a value‑creating strategy, not a cost centre.

This session is designed to help you think more clearly about where clean energy infrastructure, analytics, and electrification can unlock returns across real assets today, not in theory.

We’ll explore how to:

  • Identify where clean energy creates real commercial upside in property portfolios

  • Use data and AI to improve asset performance and investment decisions

  • Navigate the transition to electrified, low‑carbon buildings at scale

  • Align sustainability goals with investor expectations and operational realities

  • Build ventures that sit credibly between real estate, energy, and technology

You’ll leave with: practical insights from the front line, clearer signals on where value is emerging, and a more grounded understanding of how clean energy and AI are changing the built environment.

Fireside Guest: Lorna Walker

Lorna Walker is an entrepreneur and co‑founder of Camion, a startup operating at the intersection of real estate and clean energy.

Camion’s AI‑powered energy analytics platform helps real estate owners and operators maximise returns from clean energy infrastructure while accelerating decarbonisation and electrification across assets.

Before founding Camion, Lorna helped build Modomo, tackling the housing crisis through innovative development models, and spent over a decade at CBRE, where she closed £2bn+ in transactions across commercial real estate.

She is also a Trustee at the UK Green Building Council, contributing to sector‑wide leadership on sustainable buildings and net‑zero transformation.

Lorna brings a rare combination of deep transaction experience, founder‑level execution, and systems‑level insight into how capital, carbon, and technology intersect in real assets.
