​🌱 AI는 이미 비영리 현장에서 쓰이고 있습니다. 이제 중요한 것은 AI를 쓸 것인가가 아니라, 어떻게 하면 조직 안에 책임 있게 자리 잡게 하고, 실무자들에게 실질적인 도움이 되도록 만드느냐입니다.

​최근 아름다운재단과 다음세대재단이 국내 비영리 실무자를 대상으로 실시한 조사에 따르면, 실무자 개개인은 문서 작성, 자료 조사, 기획, 번역, 데이터 정리 등 다양한 업무에 AI를 적극 활용하고 있는 것으로 나타났습니다. 반면 조직 차원의 AI 활용 가이드라인과 지원 체계는 여전히 미흡해, AI 활용이 개인의 역량과 경험에 의존하고 있는 실정입니다.

​리더에게 더 어려운 질문은 이를 조직 차원에서 어떻게 다룰 것인가입니다. 어디를 자동화할 것인지, 어디서는 사람의 사고를 대체하는 대신 더 예리하게 만드는 데 AI를 쓸 것인지, 그리고 미션과 사람을 어떻게 중심에 계속 둘 것인지가 관건입니다.

​Working Smarter with AI: A Human-Centered Approach for Nonprofit Leaders

​🌱 AI is already part of nonprofit work. The question is no longer simply whether nonprofits will use AI, but how they can adopt it responsibly, thoughtfully, and in ways that strengthen the people behind the mission.

​A recent study by the Beautiful Foundation and the Daum Foundation in Korea found that many nonprofit practitioners are already using AI in their daily work: writing, research, planning, translation, data organization, and more. Yet organizational guidelines, governance, and support systems have yet to catch up, leaving AI use largely dependent on individual initiative.

​The harder question for leaders is what to do with it at the organizational level: where to automate, where to use AI to sharpen people's thinking rather than replace it, and how to keep mission and people at the center.

​This session gives nonprofit leaders a human-centered approach to AI adoption. Looking at the two strategies organizations are weighing—automation and augmentation—and a three-tier map of where AI shows up: in everyday team tasks, in internal systems and data, and on the frontline of programs. We'll get practical about responsible rollout, from small team pilots to a use policy, and about measuring success by whether the work actually improved, which matters more than counting adoption.
