​About The Workshop

​An offering from the Persian Diaspora Connect Project of Khale’s House, Sorood-e Kuhestān is a recurring Iranian folk song workshop designed to help the Persian-speaking diaspora and friends connect more deeply with Iranian cultural heritage through collective song.

​Each session is rooted in community learning and cultural interpretation. We'll explore a different folk song each time, with guided support to learn the lyrics, pronunciation, and poetic meaning - all in a warm and inclusive space.

​In this session, we’ll learn “Amad Amad ba Deljuyi,” a beloved song popularized by the icon Delkash.

​This event would not be possible without our generous hosts at Astralab - a community hub where ancestral wisdom meets modern creativity.
