Book Club: I Will Always Write Back

​Join us for our next Coastal Alchemy book club gathering as we discuss I Will Always Write Back.

​I Will Always Write Back tells the true story of an unexpected friendship between Caitlin, a middle school student in Pennsylvania, and Martin, a boy living in Zimbabwe. What begins as a simple pen pal assignment grows into a years-long exchange that changes both of their lives, offering a powerful look at friendship, empathy, privilege, resilience, and the impact of human connection across cultures.

​We’ll reflect on the book’s themes through open conversation and gentle prompts, leaving space for curiosity, listening, and shared perspective. There’s no pressure to finish the book, come as you are and share what stood out to you.
