​Can a story still feel authentic, even when it’s so distorted and far from the "real"?

​Storytelling a piece of memory is inherently a process of distortion, from the way we recall a memory to how we construct it in words, and now, how AI reinterprets that language into visuals for us.

​Building on our last workshop about AI and authenticity, we will explore how memory distorts reality and how the process of AI-generated videos negotiates this narrative process.

​⭐️ Optional: We highly recommend you to gather about 40 of your own receipts or movie tickets. Your filmstrip will look much more stunning and uniquely yours!

​Optional Transportation: A shuttle bus to New Asia College is available at HK$5.50 per one-way trip (paid by cash/octopus on bus). We’ll meet near the University MTR exit. Exact meeting point and time for the shuttle bus will be shared closer to the event date.
