English Program Japan Society of Northern California, based in Silicon Valley, in cooperation with RISE-A, is pleased to present a special program featuring innovative Japanese startups with ambitions to expand into Silicon Valley and global markets.
From AI and robotics to advanced manufacturing, automation, and emerging technologies, Japan is producing a new generation of startups with the potential to compete on the global stage. This program will feature leaders from HACARUS, Sakana AI, and Mujin, three innovative Japanese technology companies at the forefront of their respective fields. They will share their technologies, entrepreneurial journeys, experiences building globally competitive companies, and strategies for international growth.
What role will Japan play in the global AI economy? What opportunities exist for Japanese companies to harness AI developed by leading frontier labs to strengthen their industries and economy? And what are the biggest challenges Japan faces in the global AI competition? Join us to hear from executives at three exciting Japanese AI startups as they share their vision and journey into the future of AI.

About Japan Society of Northern California Japan Society of Northern California, in cooperation with Stanford University, has long organized the Japan–U.S. Innovation Awards Symposium, celebrating outstanding innovation and emerging companies from Japan and the United States. Building on this successful platform, this Tokyo program is a spin-off event designed to spotlight a new generation of Japanese startups with ambitions to expand into Silicon Valley and global markets.
シリコンバレーを拠点とするカリフォルニアジャパンソサエティは、Stanford Universityと日米の優れたイノベーションや新興企業を紹介するJapan–U.S. Innovation Awards Symposiumを長年開催してきました。本プログラムは、その実績とネットワークを活かした東京でのスピンオフ企画として、シリコンバレー、そして世界を舞台に成長を目指す次世代の日本発スタートアップにスポットライトを当てます。このイベントは英語プログラムとなります。
