​Talking about and researching human flourishing is easy. Building the civilizational systems — capital, governance, culture — that actually make it possible is harder, and where more action is needed. Let's share some stories doing this work or curiosities for systems change over some snacks and drinks on the second night of Human Tech Week.

​Both Deeply Human and the Flourishing Systems Foundation and an emerging field of innovators & practitioners oriented towards Existential Hope & Systemic Flourishing are doing exactly that, globally.

We believe the infrastructure and culture of how innovation happens today needs to be redesigned for life-aligned outcomes to emerge. Which has existential impact for humanity. That means making flourishing measurable, fundable, and actionable — through applied metrics and indicators, technology standards, real-world experiments situated in communities that shift culture and policy. Removing the systemic barriers to allow Technology and Capital to truly serve People and Planet.

​This work is already shaping conversations at IEEE, Davos, Academia (the Harvard Human Flourishing Program and alike), and policy and innovation forums globally. But the systems, standards, norms and design tools that define our collective future aren't shaped in those rooms alone — they're shaped by innovators of all kinds willing to show up, connect, and build together.
