Was die Gäste erwartet
Willkommen ist auch, wer einfach sehen will, was morgen unsere Energie sichert.
Mal.
Die Veranstaltung findet auf Englisch statt.

Power’s out – now what?
When the grid goes down, production grinds to a halt, and hospitals still need to keep running. When the wind drops, we need storage that can do more than today’s. How our energy supply holds up in a crisis is one of the most urgent questions for business and society alike. Six of Berlin’s brightest emerging researchers have answers.
On November 24, they go head to head live at the Forum Junge Spitzenforschung: seven minutes per pitch, an expert jury from industry and SMEs, and €42,000 in prize money. The audience is right in the middle of it, with questions, challenges and ideas.
What to expect
Six live pitches: short, clear and highly relevant. Topics range from crisis-proof grids and next-generation storage to backup power for hospitals and electricity and fuels from renewables.
Get talking: while the jury deliberates, the finalists are at their stands for questions, debate and networking.
Where research meets practice: companies discover application-ready solutions early and meet the people behind them, who could be future partners or the talent of tomorrow.
Awards ceremony: celebrating the research that convinced the jury.
Get-together: connect with researchers, industry, startups and FJS alumni.
Who should attend
Above all, SMEs and industrial companies looking to future-proof their energy supply. Startups, associations, transfer and funding organizations, researchers and alumni are also invited, as is anyone curious about what will keep our energy secure tomorrow.
The awards are presented by the Stiftung Industrieforschung for the 13th time.
The event will take place in English.
