Cowork for Climate Work
Within a year, most of you will be using Cowork at work.
Anthropic and Microsoft have both placed it at the center of their AI strategy. Microsoft made Copilot Cowork generally available across Microsoft 365 in June. Anthropic's Claude Cowork reached web and mobile in July. For most climate and sustainability professionals inside large organizations, one of the two is already there or on its way.
Our news follows their rollout: the Climate Work Residency now also runs on Cowork. Starting September 14, every participant runs the same six-week client engagement with three ways to build: Claude Cowork, Microsoft Copilot Cowork, or Claude Code. Pick the one you'll use at work.
This session is where you see it first. Diego Espinosa takes a simulated client's raw source documents and builds client-ready climate deliverables in Cowork, live, in minutes each, and across both the decarbonization and physical risk workflows. The same work our cohort participants produce, in the tool that is already inside your organization.
The session also grounds the vocabulary you have been hearing around Cowork. You will watch a skill get architected live: a climate method written once that then runs the same way on every client after. And you will see why the work lands as artifacts and native Excel and Word files rather than chat answers.
We cover both editions, and where they differ. Claude Cowork and Copilot Cowork share an architecture and a skills standard, which is why method built in one carries to the other.
What you will leave with: a clear picture of what Cowork does well on climate work and where it needs supervision, the method that makes the output auditable rather than plausible, and a working sense of whether this changes your week.
