Gathered in Gratitude: An Art-full Friendsgiving Studio Gathering & Afternoon Tea
Join Women of Culture in collaboration with artist Lara Alcantara Lansberg on Saturday November 21st for an intimate, artist-hosted Friendsgiving gathering.
Through art, conversation and beautifully shared seasonal teas, cocktails & treats, we’ll explore gratitude not simply as appreciation for what we have, but as a deeper recognition of what fills us, what sustains us and what we have to give.
Our afternoon will begin inside Lara’s studio with a private walk-through of her current work and an intimate conversation about her creative process. Together, we’ll explore how ideas of memory, abundance, transformation and the emotional resonance of everyday objects appear throughout her practice—offering a rare behind-the-scenes window into both the work itself and the thinking that shapes it.
We'll share seasonal sweet & savory snacks and drinks, along with guided prompts that will invite attendees to consider what is currently filling their own plates—both literally and metaphorically—and where abundance may already be present in their lives in ways they don’t always recognize.
Lara will lead you in a collaborative creative experience inspired by these themes. Each guest will contribute to one collective artwork, incorporating objects, words or symbols representing what we are grateful for and what you each bring to the communities around you.
With only 15 spots available, this will be a rare opportunity to spend meaningful time with an artist in her studio, connect deeply with a small group of women, and experience Friendsgiving through the lens of creativity, generosity and shared abundance.

Non-members: $130 first release; $135 full price
Art-full basic members: $125 first release; $130 full price
