Friends of Neno is hosting Méthode, an evening with women building in tech, tailoring, and beyond, on May 28th.
Méthode is a champagne term, méthode champenoise: the slow, exacting process that turns ordinary wine into something worth celebrating. It lives in haute couture too, where every great atelier has its own méthode, the craft, the cut, the considered way of doing something well.
The event is a gathering, a panel, and a glass worth raising to founders, entrepreneurs, and builders moving the needle with taste, craft, and rigour.
On the panel:
Antje Bleek, founder of Novem. 15 years cutting tailoring at Jil Sander, Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss, then started Novem to build that precision for women.
Katarina Bagherian, ex-VP of UX at Adyen, now co-founding Swaphouse and helping founders figure out what to build before they burn the runway.
Anelya Grant, co-founder of Loopfour.ai (YC W23). A decade in startup books taught her which finance work deserves a human and which doesn't. Loopfour is the rest.
Cécile Wyard of The Champagne Fox, whose palate is a filter for what's worth drinking before everyone else catches on.
Moderated by Andrada Smaranda, co-founder of OSÉ, ex-Adyen, who's turned brand into a method: a three-week sprint that finds the one story under the noise.
After the panel, there'll be a suiting display and showcase of Novem's work, a champagne tasting, hors d'oeuvres from Mae Coolwijk, and a carefully curated room alongside the Friends of Neno community.
