​Off-GDC meetup by local dolls for the freaks of gamedev.

​Slug World is a DIY meetup for the punks, the indies, the artists, and all the marginalized ppl working in games.

​​No sponsorships, no techie bullshit, no promotions, no gatekeepers. Everything is free.

​​This is an outdoor queer-run, women-run, autism-friendly, SW-friendly event.

​​Come hang out at beautiful Lake Merritt and see what the Bay is actually about.

​​The old indie scene is dead. Our mission is to create a place outside GDC without the desperation and clout chasing, where women and minorities can feel comfortable, and people from all layers of the industry can hang out and make friends.
