CCSB's January Climate Cafe
Climate Cafe South Brooklyn is going remote for our January Climate Cafe! Part I of our December Climate Cafe, featuring the Edinburgh Climate Coalition, took place on December 14th from 11 AM to 12 PM EST. It was a meaningful opportunity to host a global climate conversation bridging Brooklyn and Scotland. This unique collaboration allowed us to explore shared climate challenges and solutions, foster connections between our communities, and highlight the truly global nature of the climate crisis. We’re deeply grateful for the thoughtful dialogue and the chance to build this international bridge, showing how climate concerns unite us across borders.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Part II of the Climate Cafe has been rescheduled. The Climate Cafe Circle, originally planned for December 21st, will now take place on January 11th at 1 PM EST via Zoom.
This remote gathering will offer the same warm, informal, and supportive space for open conversation about climate change, sustainability, and how these critical issues affect all of us. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, curious, hopeful, or simply looking for a space where your climate thoughts and feelings can be heard, this circle is for you. The Climate Cafe is not a debate or lecture, but a judgment-free environment where everyone is welcome to share their thoughts, hopes, and concerns about the climate crisis.
The event is completely free and open to everyone—whether you’re deeply involved in climate work or just beginning to learn more. To join, simply register for free via Luma at https://luma.com/fugzc36n, and the Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants ahead of time. Donations are optional, but if you’d like to support the program, a suggested $5 donation is appreciated.
Whether you’re seeking connection, looking for answers, or just need space to voice your climate concerns, we’re here for you. Come as you are—no experience necessary, just a desire to connect, share, and support one another.
If you have any questions or need more information, please reach out to us at [email protected].
Let’s continue the conversation that matters—globally and locally.
