FORVM Photo Quest #4: Mouraria

​This time we explore one of Lisbon’s most layered and restless neighborhoods — Mouraria, the birthplace of fado and a maze of cultures, textures, and contrasts.

​

​Your task: capture the coexistence of old and new — the traces of tradition beside transformation. Look for juxtapositions: azulejos and graffiti, saints and satellite dishes, shadow and color.

​

​We’ll meet at [insert meeting point], walk through narrow alleys, hidden viewpoints, and local corners that most people miss. You’ll receive a photographic challenge to guide your eye and provoke interpretation.

​At the end, we’ll share and discuss a few favorite shots over a drink — as always, learning from how others see.
