About Event

The world’s largest gathering focused on open-source federated and decentralized AI is back. The Flower AI Summit event brings together the builders, researchers, and leaders shaping the next phase of AI: where intelligence is trained collaboratively and in the open.

3,500 people joined the Flower AI Summit last year

Expect another high-energy program featuring world-class keynotes, technical deep dives, and early looks at new technologies redefining how AI is built and deployed — alongside bold new announcements from the Flower team for 2026.

Now in it's 6th year, Flower events attract some of the most talented people in AI to speak; past contributors include:

  • Sara Hooker (CEO & Co-founder, Adaption)

  • Thomas Wolf (CSO & Co-founder, Hugging Face)

  • Joe Spisak (Director, Meta)

  • Ce Zheng (CTO, Together AI)

  • Virginia Smith (Associate Prof, CMU)

  • Anna Kazlauskas (Co-creator, Vana Foundation)

  • Mark Surman (President, Mozilla)

  • Tony James (Chief Architect - Sci/Space, Red Hat)

  • Borja Balle (Research Scientist, Google DeepMind)

  • Jonathan Frankle (Chief Scientist - NN, Databricks)

Participating organizations include the top universities, start-ups and corporations a few examples being: JP Morgan, Red Hat, Stanford, Oxford, Owkin, Mozilla, Coinbase, NHS, US Airforce, MIT, Cambridge, Samsung, AWS, Deloitte, KCL, Pharos AI, Roche, Intel, TU Berlin, Eye2Gene, UCL, IBM, US Census Bureau, NIST, Banking Circle, Temenos and Nvidia.

Agents are Federating

This year we will be especially focused on a powerful new theme in decentralization: agentic AI. From federated systems to autonomous, collaborating agents, we’ll explore how decentralized foundations are enabling entirely new capabilities through agentic agency.

[Tickets] Register today to secure your place—tickets are free, but capacity is limited. The program will include an evening social event, bringing the community together to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate how far we have come and where things are heading.

[Contribute] A call for participation is now available, with opportunities to showcase your work through talks, posters, and live demos. Register to attend today, while also exploring if you can even be part of the program with a submission at this link.

[Location] We will again be hosted at the wonderful King's House venue that offers a world-class hybrid in-person or online experience, and is only a few minutes walk from King's Cross Station and many of the AI companies based in London.
