**NEW** Online Street Wisdom Story Walkshop with David Pearl, Thursday 9th October 2025, 12pm UK time (2 hours)
New Story Walkshop
People often use Street Wisdom to create the next chapter in their lives. This is very consistent with the work that Street Wisdom founder David Pearl does around the world using the power of narrative to help people "author the future". As citizens of this often disorienting world, we thought it would be enriching to share his storytelling techniques as part of a Special Online Story Walkshop experience. The story workshop will incorporate a Street Wisdom Walkshop session, and we'll send you a free e-copy of David's book, Story for Leaders.
More about the Story Walkshop
In an increasingly complex world, we need to broaden our repertoire to be effective. Rather than just describing the future, we need to inspire people to make it a reality. The ability to understand and deploy story technology is not a communication challenge, it’s an essential skill for the 21st century.
This Special Story Walkshop is an immersive session of insight and interaction, designed especially for our amazing Street Wisdom community. Participants will learn how narrative can be used to amplify their influence as leaders to help them, and the people they work with, to navigate the future.
What we will explore
Why story, why now?
How do stories work (neurologically) and why do we have them?
How can we use narrative to become effective meaning makers?
What are the 7 essential components of story?
What you will experience
David’s innovative approach to ‘storyboarding the future’ based on his film experience
Creative secrets of the Hollywood ‘writers room’
A ‘story conference’ format, drafting storyboards and co-coaching each other to excellence
The format for this workshop
After an introduction, we'd love to encourage participants to go outdoors to wander. After the wander, we'll likely break out into smaller groups to share what we learn and experience. Join us on Zoom from indoors or outdoors. You can start indoors before heading out, or remain indoors or outdoors throughout. Work out the best way for you to connect to the Zoom to maximise your experience.

Stay streetwise
The Street Wisdom Walkshop has a risk disclaimer (see below) which you agree to by making a booking. This is to remind you that the wonderful big outdoor world - as well as potentially containing fresh new insights, ideas and intention - contains all sorts of things including risks, and so it's important to be vigilant. We think Street Wisdom is about heightening your awareness, the kind that means you're becoming more alert, rather than zoning out. So importantly: have fun, find your Street Wisdom, but also be streetwise.
