Ready to give your gently-used kids' items a new life?
Register for our Lisburn Swap Drop: Day 1 on Saturday 7th February.
After dropping off your items, you’ll get access to the swapping on Event Day on Sunday 15th February, 1pm-2.30pm, at the same location. [Note - You don't need to register separately for Event Day, you're automatically granted access by taking part in the Swap Drop.]
You’re welcome to bring your little ones along to both the Swap Drop day and the main Swap Event. We’ll have activities to keep them entertained, and we want children to feel like a big part of the sustainable swapping process.
How registration works:
For Lisburn, we are releasing Swap Drop spots in waves. This helps us:
Make sure we have enough volunteers to safely manage the volume of items.
Maintain a good mix of items across age ranges.
We’re also trialling this approach to ensure we have enough volunteers and to improve the variety of items available on Event Day as previously, we've received large amounts of clothing and items for babies, toddlers, and children under 7, but fewer items for older children.
Everything depends on what families choose to give. Ahead of the event, we’ll share what age ranges we’ve received the most items for but please understand we can’t guarantee stock for specific age ranges.
Important note about Swap Drops
The Wee Swap is designed as a circular exchange, not a donation drive. By giving in items at a Swap Drop, you are securing your entry for the main event.
While we understand some people may only want to hand items in, spaces at Swap Drops are limited. If you don’t plan to return for the event, we kindly ask you not to take a Swap Drop space as this prevents another family from taking part and we risk being overwhelmed with too many items.
