Excited to announce that Agriventures will be part of the Green Transition Forum 2026 with a high-level discussion dedicated to the future of agriculture:

“Innovation and Digitalisation in Agriculture – From Data to Impact”
4 June 2026 | 15:30–17:00 | Sofia, Bulgaria

As agriculture faces increasing pressure to become more resilient, sustainable, and competitive, innovation and digitalisation are no longer optional. From precision agriculture and AI-driven decision-making to circular business models and biotechnology, the sector is entering a new phase where data must translate into measurable impact.

The discussion will bring together international experts, innovators, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem leaders to explore:
• how digital technologies are transforming agricultural production and food systems
• the role of innovation ecosystems in accelerating adoption
• opportunities around circularity and resource efficiency
• collaboration between startups, industry, research, and institutions
• practical examples creating real impact across Europe and beyond

Among the confirmed and invited speakers are representatives from FAO, SAI Platform, AgFutura Technologies, EVOTROPIA, Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía, Mealprot, Ondo Solutions, and others.

The session will also highlight circularity as a strategic innovation opportunity through the perspective of Circular Voices.

The discussion will be moderated by Mariya Hristova from Agriventures.

Following the session, we will host the inaugural Agriventures Awards 2026, recognising innovation and impact across the agrifood ecosystem.

Sofia is becoming an important meeting point for the future of sustainable agriculture and food innovation in Southeast Europe, and we are looking forward to welcoming founders, investors, researchers, institutions, corporates, and changemakers to the conversation.
