Jills bio:
Jill Jones is an entrepreneur, angel investor, and advocate for gender-smart investing with over 20 years’ experience backing early-stage ventures. Her academic interests focus on gender inequalities in the entrepreneurial ecosytem, particularly funding gaps affecting women founders. In 2022, she co-founded Women Angels of Wales, the first female-led business angel syndicate in Wales. Here, she serves as a Lead Angel, working to address gender disparities in access to entrepreneurial finance and support. Jill is also a Public Value Entrepreneur in Residence at Cardiff University Business School.
