Amsterdam | The Artist Dinners, vol. 1: Yizon Chen
Artist Dinners — by Pink Poodle Society
Each month, Pink Poodle Society invites you to an intimate dinner hosted by a featured artist. These gatherings bring together a curated group of creatives around one table, where the evening’s host leads the conversation with a unique theme or topic inspired by their work or artistic perspective.
🍽️ With your ticket, you’ll enjoy:
A 2-course dinner at The Hoxton Amsterdam — a new, seasonal menu for each edition
Non-alcoholic drinks including water and soft drinks
An artfully designed postcard featuring the artist’s work and reflections on the evening’s theme
A personal letter from the featured artist
Alocholic drinks are available for purchase on site. At checkout, you’ll have the option to choose a vegan, vegetarian or meat menu.
Come for the conversation, stay for the connections — meet fellow creatives, explore new ideas, and enjoy an inspiring night of art, dialogue, and delicious food.
✨ A new artist , menu and theme each month. Limited seats available.
Meet this month's artist & host, Yizon Chen of Studio Yizon:
Yizon Chen is a Taiwanese designer and goldsmith based in Amsterdam. With a background in art and fashion, he approaches jewellery not just as adornment, but as a medium of expression and connection. His practice bridges contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship, offering demi-fine collections that catch the eye, bespoke commissions that capture personal stories, and workshop experiences that invite people into the world of making by hand.
Yizon’s own work is defined by a sensitivity to materials and form. He explores the dialogue between jewellery and the body, finding beauty in subtle details and embracing the uniqueness of imperfection. Each piece reflects his belief that jewellery carries meaning beyond its physical form — as a vessel for memory, emotion, and individuality.
