Cultivating Resilience: Singing Through It All
This event is part of the "Cultivating Resilience: A Fellowship of Dandelions in turbulent times" series. All are welcome!
Join us for an evening of fellowship, music, and rejuvenation. Piper will offer healing sound with voice and shruti box, insights on music in community, and movement work and some participatory singing. There will be queries, discussion and fellowship.
The event will be hybrid.
About Piper:
E.C. Piper (Emily Constance, They/Them), has a ministry of music held by Mt. Toby Friends Meeting and has shared their songs during vespers and meeting for business at NEYM Sessions in 2024 and 2025. Piper is an artist of many mediums including song, watercolor, collage, fiber, candle making, sculpture and dance. Piper holds a Master's in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University, has studied yoga and reiki and has been singing and performing since childhood. Piper works as a vocational counselor and advocate for those in disability communities and shares their art and music when possible. Covid policies: All in-person attendees are required to wear a mask while inside. Masks will be available for those who forget them.
Getting to BHFH: Use the address "8 Chestnut St., Boston, MA, 02108" for navigation. We recommend taking public transit to get here: We are a short walk from every transit line in Boston. If you choose to drive in, paid street parking is available on Charles Street (and on Beacon Street before 6 pm). We also have parking passes available for $9 to the Boston Common Garage.
