We did not come here alone. Gather brings together emerging and established movement artists for three nights of pole, aerial, and performance art woven through the language of tarot. Presented by Lucent Productions and featuring artists from Captivate at PoleCoven and invited guests — this is a show built at the intersection of spectacle and inquiry, community and confrontation.
Guided by the Major Arcana, Gather asks the questions we are all living right now: who holds power, who it costs, and what becomes possible when we finally decide to refuse it together. Part ritual, part reckoning, part celebration. If you have ever felt the tension between what you need and what we need — this show was made for you. The cards are drawn. The circle is open. Gather is proud to collaborate with partnered dance companies such as Pandora's Box Cabaret, Latinx Bloom, Rebellious Movement and Luminesque Dance. We are thrilled to feature guest choreographers Taylor Noel, Vanessa Carson, Brity Britt, and Cat Newcombe. These groups and choreographers have built pieces for this show.
Together, we aim to bring a breadth of artistic vision, movement practice, and shared values to the stage — each rooted in the belief that performance is more than spectacle. It is a space for inquiry, connection, and the ongoing work of building something together.
