​A hands-on masterclass in shoe repair and customisation.

​Ever wished your heels were actually comfortable, or just yours? This is that session.

​We’re inviting you into Jaqkodí studio in collaboration with Michaela Naomi for a hands-on evening where you’ll learn how to repair, rework and completely transform a pair of heels from the ground up.

​We start where most people don’t, the bits that actually hurt. Upper sole repair, cushioning, padding, and foam application – the practical stuff that makes heels wearable again. Then we get into the fun part: customisation, which includes hand sewing + stitching and pattern matching. By the end of the session, you’ll have a pair of heels that are fixed, finished and entirely your own.

​Places are limited intentionally. This isn’t a big group, it’s small and in a focused studio setting where you can learn and leave with something real and wearable.

​What You Will Learn
This experience is structured to introduce both conceptual and practical approaches to upcycling and design:

• ​Shoe repair foundations – upper sole repair

• ​Comfort & cushioning – padding and foam application to tackle the discomfort

• ​Basic Pattern Cutting / Making

• ​Customisation – fabric, trims and pattern matching

• ​Material and surface prep – understanding composition, deconstruction and prep before transformation

• ​Finishing and durability – sealing, styling and presenting your completed piece
