Matching will be powered by Matchbox. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. The algorithm has matched more than half a million people to date, across 40 countries. It optimizes for long-term compatibility, based on values—but it’s up to you to see if you’ll click.
How it works:
Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox's team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics.
After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!

Who it’s for:
The matchmaking portion is restricted for Straight people in their 30s and 40s.
Age will be verified during check-in.
If you are not within the listed age range you will be dismissed from the event without refund.
Orientation restrictions do not apply for “No Matchmaking”.

The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind.
If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.

Event Structure:
This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time.
8:00pm—guests arrive, grab drinks, and fill out questionnaire
9:00pm—doors close, introductions begin, and The Algorithm begins computing matches
9:30pm—guests are split into groups containing their matches and mingle
10:00pm—matches are revealed and pairs chat
10:15pm—vinyl, cocktails, & open floor for mingling
11:00pm—event concludes

Q: What age range is the event for? A: This event is for people in their 30s and 40s.
Q: What if I don't get a match? A: We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. These people receive a free ticket to a future event of their choice, valid for 60 days after this event.
Q: Do I need dance shoes? A: No! This is a non-dancing event.
Q: What should I wear? A: Dress to impress (this is a dating event after-all).
