Tensors & Tales : The Early Equations of AI
🌟 A gathering for curious explorers diving into the world of Artificial Intelligence — from its origins to the ideas shaping today’s breakthroughs. In this first session, we’ll peel back the layers of how AI thinks, learns, and scales.
Join us for an evening of exploration into the evolving story of Artificial Intelligence — where math meets meaning, and engineering meets emergence.
This is the first session in our monthly series for those who love to think deeply, question intuitions, and trace the roots of today’s AI back to the principles that built it. We’ll look not just at what works, but why — and where the next cracks of insight may lie.
We’ll begin with a relaxed half hour of arrival and conversation — a space to connect with others who share an appetite for research, reasoning, and curiosity.
From there, we move into our main discussion, uncovering the mechanics and mysteries behind modern AI systems.
We will explore some major milestones and important equations that shaped the era of modern LLMs — including optimizations, scaling architectures, attention mechanisms, and the emergence of meaning through gradient-based learning.
We’ll close with an open-floor discussion and networking session — a place to share questions, spark collaborations, and map where we might go next.
