About the Event
Spend an evening slowing down, getting creative, and making something uniquely yours at our first Pottery & Wine Night on June 4 from 5–8 PM.
Slowing down to create art with your hands can become a grounding, meditative experience that encourages self-expression, unlocks creativity, and creates space to reset, reconnect and be more present with yourself.
This beginner-friendly sculpting workshop will guide guests through creating one of two featured forms: a cowboy boot matchstick holder or a human figure candlestick holder. Prefer to create your own idea? You’re welcome to freestyle with support and guidance from the host throughout the evening.
Using polymer clay, each guest will receive 1/2 lb of clay to sculpt and take home to bake and finish after the event. Along with hands-on instruction, guests will enjoy wine, charcuterie, music, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere designed for creativity and connection.
The evening is hosted by Tory Rebhun, a local ceramic artist focused on handbuilding techniques and sculptural forms who has been working with clay since 2018.
We’re excited to gather a creative community together for the first event of this kind at Gevity and hope you’ll join us.
