ARTIST SPOTLIGHT
Valentini Loizou @valentini_loizou
Berlin-based pianist and composer Valentini offers a deeply emotional and lyrical musical voice shaped by her Greek-Cypriot heritage and classical training. A graduate of Charles University in Prague, she creates dreamy, heartfelt, and immersive compositions that invite deep reflection and connection.
Johannes Wasikowski @johanneswasikowski
Leipzig-based pianist and rising figure in contemporary piano music. Inspired by Nils Frahm and Hania Rani, Johannes blends classical precision with ambient clarity — his playing described as “miniatures between late Romanticism and Impressionism.” His work with dance, theatre, and Goethe-Institut projects bridges tradition and innovation beautifully.
Nathan Shubert (they/them) @nathanshubert
Contemporary composer exploring the emotional space between sound and place through felted piano, synth, and field recordings. Based in Germany, Nathan’s upcoming album Iso (November 2025) deepens their introspective modern classical voice — a follow-up to their acclaimed The Moon From Here (2022).
Marco Wedel @marco_wedel
Berlin-based composer and humanities scholar whose music merges composition, improvisation, and sound art. His performances create quiet, reflective sound spaces. His upcoming album Circumstances & Resolutions (January 2026) evolves from field recordings and piano textures — tonight offers an early glimpse.
Italian pianist and composer based in Berlin. Inspired by minimalism and Monet’s “Impression, soleil levant,” Havre’s work captures the feeling of mist — soft, suspended, and emotionally vivid. His music reflects that moment between clarity and dream, light and shade.
