Rooftop Social Reading Party 📚

​You know the feeling. You buy the book, you tell yourself this is the week, and then it just... sits there. Your phone is right there. Netflix is right there, and most of the time you can’t resist. Let us help you as we've been there too.

​So we're doing something about it - a social reading party, on a rooftop.

​Here's how it works..

​Doors open 14.00

​PART 1: READING (14.30-15.30)

​We start with an hour of just reading. Phones away, no small talk, just you, your book, and everyone around you doing the same thing.

​There's something about reading next to strangers that makes it easier than reading alone - try it, you'll get it. Indoor and outdoor space, so grab a spot on the roof or inside, whatever you're feeling.

​PART 2: MOBILITY (15.30-15.45)

​We'll create a space for 10-15 minutes of mobilization to stretch your body after a long read and bring your awareness back to presence.

​Our mobility coach, Nico will guide the session. Beginner-friendly, and you don't need to bring anything with you for this.

​PART 3: SOCIAL (15.45 - 17.00)

​Then we open it up. Small social connection games, background music, and it turns into what Gezellig sessions always turn into - good conversation with people you didn't know an hour ago. Ask the person next to you what they were reading. You might leave with a new book on your list, or a new person in your life.

​WHAT TO BRING:

• ​a book (or two!)

• ​a friend, or come solo and make one.

• ​an actual willingness to put your phone away for an hour or the whole time 📖

• ​(optional) and if you’d like: Feel free to bring books to swap!

​🥂We'll have free drinks for everyone (until they are gone), but you're welcome to BYOB (bring your own bottle)

​Finally, a reason to finish that book. See you on the roof!
