Gezellig Sessions x THE_SPACE
Directly at the Kurfürstendamm subway entrance, there is a 1,800 square meter gap between buildings. An ensemble of 35 containers, designed by the world-famous architecture studio GRAFT, stands on this site: THE_SPACE.
THE_SPACE is built for people, culture, and music to actually mix.
On Friday, September 18th, we're taking it over for a full night across 8 hours with - a listening session, a live music showcase, and open-air DJ sets until 2am.
One very long, very good night.
PROGRAM
6 pm: Doors open
7.00 - 7.45 pm: listening session upstairs.
8.15 - 9.45 pm: the live music showcase
(afterparty) 10 pm: two DJs, till 2am.
Expect some surprise acts 👀

TOSHIN | (soul/r&b)
Nigerian-born, Irish-raised, and the kind of voice that rearranges a room. Soul, R&B, Afro-pop and real storytelling. She's played Electric Picnic and All Together Now, and shared stages with Macy Gray, Gregory Porter and Madness. This should give you the vibe check -
ANAND BHASKAR | (indie)
He's one of India's best-known indie voices: Hindi rock with big, soaring melodies and a singer who doesn't really need a microphone to reach the back of a room.

JANA & LAEDON takes the decks. They both play global sounds, afro/house & great at reading the room. Grandstand seating, open sky, dancing until 2am, and if it turns cold, we move inside and keep going 🙂↕️
