​Design Essentials for Climate Conscious Leaders

​In September, we're hosting Marc O'Brien, co-founder of Climate Designers a 100% volunteer-led organization that addresses the skills gap many of us find ourselves in: how to create planet-positive change through creative work. Marc and team do this through educational content & resources, and by connecting designers globally through an online community and with local Chapters around the world.

Marc will ask attendees, “What are we doing? Like for real. WTF are we really doing?”

​At some point, the weight of everything around us forces us to ask a question like this. Collapsing systems, disconnection from the world around us, the stress of everything. A “conventional” life (and career) isn’t cutting it anymore. Once you ask this question out loud, you realize you are not alone.

​In this talk, Marc traces the chaos, coincidences, and sliding door moments that brought him (and all of us) to this exact moment. He challenges creatives to reckon with the role we've played in getting us here, and what it means to forge a different path forward.
