Ethical Tech Project Visits From NYC: Responsible AI Presentation
We have very special guests from The Ethical Tech Project visiting in person from NYC to talk about responsible AI.
Description:
Companies write AI policies. They build compliance checklists. But do they pause to ask the harder foundational question: what do we actually believe about how humans and AI should work together?
Drawing on the Ethical Tech Project's work on values, mission, and codes of ethics, we'll start where governance should start: by defining what we even mean by "ethics" when AI is involved.
We'll look at how constitutional AI forced the companies building the technology to articulate a stance before their products could function, and discuss if and how enterprises should do the same. Participants will work through a case study, surface the governance gaps hiding in plain sight, and leave with a sharper sense of what it looks like when AI governance begins with values, not just rules. Join us for a facilitated 90-minute session about the step most organizations skip. Part presentation, part working session, part honest conversation.
This session is open to everyone, no AI experience needed.
Tickets: Free for MWAI members | $15 for guests
