Students in their second year and above are invited to a guest lecture designed to introduce Ben-Gurion University students to AWS and modern cloud infrastructure.
📅 Date: March 22, 2026
🕔 Time: 17:00–20:00

This session will give you a practical introduction to cloud computing and the AWS ecosystem. We’ll cover the core services, how real-world systems are built in the cloud, and why AWS has become a standard in the tech industry.
The goal of this lecture is simple: to expose students to the tools, concepts, and mindset used in modern cloud-based systems, and to help bridge the gap between academic projects and production environments.
You're welcome to bring a laptop with a charger.
The lecture will be given by Orel Bello, Senior DevOps Platform Engineer at Melio. Orel is recognized by Amazon Web Services as an AWS Community Builder and is the founder of FlipTheScript, a community that helps junior engineers enter cloud and DevOps roles.
