Technology is usually discussed through the future. Techno Romanticism begins by looking back.
From early machines and communication systems to computers, robots and artificial intelligence, technology has always been part of the human story. Changing how we work, create, remember, connect and dream.
For one day, Sanctuary Parc will become a gallery and a living exhibition of this relationship. Through art, music, installations, objects, conversations and strange experiments, we’ll explore the technologies that brought us here and the many futures they might still make possible.
This is not a conference or product showcase. Come to wander, participate and encounter technology not only as a tool, but as culture: something shaped by human imagination, ambition and wonder.
This event is part of Basecamp, a community-powered tech week in Bengaluru bringing founders, builders and operators together.
Techno Romanticism is for artists, builders, designers, researchers, technologists and anyone curious about the things humans make and how those things remake us.
Open call for installations
We are accepting proposals from artists, designers, technologists, researchers and independent makers who would like to present an installation, object or experiment at Techno Romanticism V1.
