What does it look like to use your creativity to make a difference?
This hands-on workshop will explore how storytelling, art, and design can become tools for building a more regenerative world.
Lauren of Heartseed Creative will introduce practical storytelling and visual communication techniques that help ideas connect, then guide you through a creative brainstorming process to develop your own message. From there, you'll create a one-of-a-kind design for a postcard using plant-based pigments and materials.
These postcards are created as offerings. Something to share, mail, or display as an invitation to imagine what could be different.
Whether your heart is in healthy food systems, reducing textile waste, stronger communities, or another regenerative issue, you'll create a handmade piece of art and leave with a new way of thinking about your own creativity.*
No artistic experience is required. You don't need to consider yourself an activist, designer, or writer. If you've ever wondered how your creativity can contribute to positive change, this limited-space workshop is for you.
* After the workshop, Heartseed Creative and Gifting Grove will transform your artwork into a risograph-printed postcard. You can pick up your finished postcard at the exhibition's closing celebration or have it mailed to you.
