Community Yamuna Clean-Up & Guided Forest Walk
Join us for a meaningful Yamuna River Clean-Up Drive, followed by a Forest Plog Walk and a Guided Forest Walk at the historic Chhath Ghat, ITO, New Delhi.
This initiative is designed to bring together environmentally conscious citizens who want to take collective responsibility for restoring the cleanliness of the Yamuna while reconnecting with nature through an immersive forest walk experience.
Participants will actively clean the riverbank area, collect and segregate waste, and then proceed toward a guided plog walk through the nearby green stretch, where an expert guide will introduce you to local flora, biodiversity, and environmental conservation practices.
This is not just a cleanup-it is an experiential learning opportunity about urban rivers, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable living.
What You Will Do
During the event, participants will:
Clean the Yamuna riverbank at Chhath Ghat
Collect and segregate plastic and general waste
Participate in a Forest Plog Walk (walking + picking litter)
Join a Guided Forest Walk with environmental insights
Learn about river conservation and urban biodiversity
Contribute to visible environmental impact
All collected waste will be responsibly disposed of after the drive.

Reusable water bottle

Note: Dustbin bags, Masks, Gloves will be provided on-site by the organizers.

09:00 AM – Reporting & Registration at Chhath Ghat
09:15 AM – Briefing & Safety Instructions
09:30 AM – Yamuna Clean-Up Drive Begins
10:00 AM – Forest Plog Walk Starts
10:45 AM – Guided Forest Walk
11:30 AM – Closing & Group Photo
