About Event

Join Nucleate Michigan and the Michigan Biomedical Venture Fund (MBVF) for the first seminar in our Fall '26 Lecture Series, a 3-part seminar program that explores what it is to evaluate and build biotech ideas from concept to clinic. Speakers will provide experiential expertise and case study insight on venture capital investment, life sciences business development, and startup strategy.

Our last session features Scott Olson, Technology Commercialization Senior Professional and formerly MTRAC Commercialization Director at Wayne State University. He will share insights from over 3 decades of experience across life sciences commercialization, business development, product positioning, and go-to-market strategy.

Scott will discuss the importance of aligning regulatory strategy with market need to make a startup's innovation visible and investable.

FYI: By attending the full series, you are accessing the opportunity to engage in the MBVF Innovation Fellowship, a 6-month program in which you will build hands-on experience in biotech ecosystem landscaping and sourcing new technologies.
