​Join Codex Community Vietnam for a day of building with Codex. It's a hackathon for people who want to ship real AI products — not pitch decks. Form a team or build solo, then spend the day turning an idea into a working prototype.

​Build something new from scratch or push an existing project further. Powered by Codex, OpenAI's coding agent, you'll run parallel tasks, experiment with Skills, and use worktrees to operate with greater speed and ambition.

​Hackathon này dành cho những người muốn xây dựng sản phẩm thực thụ. Bạn có thể lập nhóm hoặc làm một mình để biến ý tưởng thành một prototype hoạt động được, dù là xây mới hoàn toàn từ đầu hay phát triển tiếp một dự án đã có.

​Who This Event Is For

​This event is for builders who want to ship something real:

​How It Works

​Build something meaningful with Codex. Over the course of the day you'll:

• ​Form a team (up to 4 members) or build solo

• ​Turn an idea into a functional prototype

• ​Present your work to our judging panel

​Projects can be B2B, B2C, consumer, agentic, infrastructure — or entirely weird. The only rule: it must be real, functional, and built during the hackathon.

​Tracks

​Eligibility:
Tracks 1–3 require that all codes must be writting during the event. Track 4 requires a product that's already live.

• ​Track 1 — Market Scale: For products with serious business potential. Judges look for a large reachable market, a clear first customer, and a credible path to adoption.
  Track 1 - Quy mô thị trường: Dành cho các sản phẩm có tiềm năng kinh doanh nghiêm túc. Giám khảo tìm kiếm một thị trường đủ lớn và có thể tiếp cận được, một khách hàng đầu tiên rõ ràng, và một lộ trình khả thi để sản phẩm được đón nhận.

• ​Track 2 — Engineering Depth: For technically ambitious builds. Judges look for real engineering difficulty and strong execution.
  Track 2 - Chiều sâu kỹ thuật: Dành cho các sản phẩm tham vọng về mặt kỹ thuật. Giám khảo tìm kiếm giải pháp tiếp cận bài toán có độ khó kỹ thuật thực sự và thể hiện khả năng triển khai tốt.

• ​Track 3 — Impact to Vietnam: For products that create meaningful, Vietnam-specific impact. Judges look for deep understanding of Vietnamese users, culture, market behavior, and real-world adoption.
  Track 3 - Tác động đến Việt Nam: Dành cho các sản phẩm tạo ra tác động ý nghĩa và mang tính đặc thù cho Việt Nam. Giám khảo tìm kiếm sự thấu hiểu sâu sắc về người dùng Việt, văn hóa, hành vi thị trường, và khả năng được đón nhận trong thực tế.

• ​Track 4 — Transform with Codex: For teams with an existing product, startup, or live business. Show how Codex and/or OpenAI models can transform your product, user experience, internal workflows, engineering velocity, or business model. Judges look for actual and deep transformations that not easily replicable by other Coding Agents or AI Labs' models.
  Track 4 - Ứng dụng Codex xuất sắc nhất: Dành cho các đội đã có sẵn sản phẩm, startup, hoặc doanh nghiệp đang hoạt động. Chúng tôi muốn biết Codex và/hoặc các mô hình của OpenAI có thể thay đổi sản phẩm, trải nghiệm người dùng, quy trình nội bộ, tốc độ phát triển kỹ thuật, hoặc mô hình kinh doanh của bạn như thế nào. Chúng tôi tìm kiếm những sự thay đổi thực sự và sâu sắc — loại thay đổi khó có thể tái tạo bằng các Coding Agent khác hoặc mô hình của các AI Lab khác.

​Prizes

• ​Tracks 1–3:

  • ​1st Prize: 12 months of ChatGPT Pro ($200) for every team member

  • ​2nd and 3rd Prize: 6 months of ChatGPT pro ($100) for every team member

• ​Track 4:

  • ​1st Prize: $10,000 USD in OpenAI API credits

  • ​2nd Prize: $5,000 USD in OpenAI API credits

​The best teams from each of the 3 tracks presents their product on stage.

• ​Senior engineers with deep domain expertise
