Navigating REDD+ in Peru in 2026: RENAMI Compliance, Nesting, Risk Maps, and the FREL Gap
The 2026 Strategy Briefing: RENAMI, Nesting, and High-Integrity Data
The Peruvian carbon market has moved from speculation to high-stakes regulation. With the official operationalization of RENAMI in early 2026 and the new mandatory VCS Risk Maps (VMD0055), the technical "margin for error" has effectively disappeared.
Join Brian R. Zutta, Ph.D., for a deep-dive technical briefing designed for project developers, ESG leads, and institutional investors who need to navigate the current "Data Gap" and secure compliance in the 2026 registry.
What We Will Cover:
RENAMI 1.0 Survival: Why projects are being observed/rejected in early 2026.
The FREL Reconciliation: Bridging the critical 6-year gap between the 2019 National FREL and current registry requirements.
Nesting & JREDD+ Priority: Navigating the March 2026 updates for Indigenous JREDD+ programs and early REDD+ projects.
Who Should Attend?
Project Developers: Seeking to align legacy PDDs with 2026 RENAMI standards.
Institutional Investors: Requiring technical due diligence for Peruvian portfolios.
GIS & ESG Technical Leads: Tasked with implementing the new VMD0055.
