Angela H. Brown is the Publisher of SLUG Magazine, Salt Lake's longest-running independent publication, and the Founder and Executive Director of Craft Lake City, Utah's leading nonprofit celebrating local makers and creative culture. Over 35 years, she has built platforms for thousands of artists, makers and independent voices across Utah, with a particular commitment to elevating women and underrepresented creatives who deserve a seat at the table. Angela is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses graduate, recipient of the Josephine Zimmerman Pioneer in Journalism Award, the 2024 Mayor's Artist Award and the 2026 Downtown Alliance Creator Cultural Icon Award.
