Build Your Native iOS App in Swift - Weekly Online Session
A free 45-minute session for non-technical builders who want to ship a real native iOS app.
Every week, Modaal co-founders Ivan Misuno (ex-Uber, Meta) and Elena Avramenko (ex-Miro) walk you through exactly how to get started: what your options are, how native iOS [Swift] compares to the alternatives [React Native+Expo], and what the right workflow looks like when you're not an engineer.
What we cover
The real difference between native iOS and cross-platform -and why it matters for your product
How to start: from idea to first working screens, without writing code
How to connect Figma and use your designs as a direct input
How to prompt like an engineer - the patterns that get better results from AI agents
How Modaal fits into your stack and what you can realistically ship
Who this is for
PMs, designers, founders, and indie builders who have a product idea and want to build it as a real native app - not a prototype, not a web wrapper. You don't need a technical background. You need 45 minutes and something worth building and intent to build.
After the session
You'll know exactly how to start. Sign up for Modaal and keep building.
What you need to get started
A Mac — any Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS Tahoe (26) or later
Xcode 26 — free from the Mac App Store; set aside ~40 GB of disk space and some time for the download
Modaal — download the macOS app and start for free
An Apple ID — needed for Xcode; the free tier is enough to start building and testing in the simulator
Hosted by Ivan Misuno, CPTO, and Elena Avramenko, CEO - co-founders of Modaal.
