Founder Friday

🌟 Founder Fridays: Connect First, Business Second 🌟

At Founder Fridays, there’s no agenda, no pitches, and no pressure - just humans connecting over good food and great conversation. It’s about the kind of spontaneous collisions that spark fresh ideas, unexpected collaborations, and lasting relationships.

This month, we’re gathering at IKEA Calgary for a cheap and cheerful breakfast because: why the heck not?!?

📅 Date: Friday, October 3
⏰ Time: 10 AM – 12 PM
📍 Location: IKEA Calgary (8000 11 St SE)

Your Hosts:
> George Damian: A strategist who’s helped founders sharpen their ideas after a career leading some of BP’s largest energy projects across North America and the Middle East. George brings a unique mix of industrial know-how and startup acumen from his work with Creative Destruction Lab and Platform Calgary.

> Lourdes Juan: A serial entrepreneur and community builder, Lourdes is the CEO and Co-Founder of Knead Technologies, a startup that is reshaping food rescue logistics through innovation. Lourdes also serves as founder of several promising local businesses, including Hive Developments and SOMA Spa.

💡 Whether you’re a founder, investor, or ecosystem catalyst, this is your chance to connect as people first—because the best breakthroughs often start with a simple conversation.
