Business and Beer - Presented by Startup Women NC
Old-school networking. New-school thinking. Always on tap.
Business and Beer is your new favorite throwback to when deals were made over drafts and ideas flowed as freely as the pours.
Each session packs 40 minutes of sharp, practical business wisdom- served casual, not corporate. It’s totally free and open to anyone: the business-minded, the business-curious, and the business-adjacent.
Sign-in starts at 6:00 p.m. Drop by, grab your pint, get entered to win a free drink, and stay for the fun.
This month's session is titled "From Idea to Identity: Safeguarding Your Business's IP," led by Venus Liles. Venus breaks down how your brand is more than a logo. It’s your reputation, your creativity, and your edge- you've got to safeguard it! This session will demystify the basics of trademarks and copyrights for founders, so you can avoid common missteps, understand what’s worth protecting, and build a business with staying power.
Venus Liles is a Startup Attorney and the Founder of Liles Law. As a fellow entrepreneur, she understands the challenges of balancing running a business with the other demands and joys of life.
