Hamburg is quietly becoming one of Europe's more interesting cities for AI entrepreneurship — and the founders shaping that story are building with both ambition and purpose. This evening brings together builders working across the full breadth of what AI can mean: infrastructure that doesn't fail, tools that make organisations more human, and education that ensures the next generation isn't left behind.
Beyond the products, this is a conversation about what it takes to build in Hamburg — navigating the local ecosystem, finding your footing, and making the case that AI, done right, can be a genuine force for good.

Juan Zhang, Founder of Denker AI - Studied Applied mathematics. P&G alumna. Germany-based. Building the workspace where humans work with AI agents — a visual canvas where agents research, write, code, and automate in parallel, and you can actually see them think and act in real time.
Lena Harnisch, Founder of the AI Curious Collective (network for FLINTA* in AI) - full-time project and change manager at transformation consultancy 55BirchStreet while bootstrapping their own GenAI Change Management solution navar.ai
Virendra Bhalothia, Co-Founder & CTO, Kolsetu - Hamburg-based AI startup building production-grade agentic workforce for regulated industries. Originally from Rajasthan, India, Virendra spent around 2 decades in high-scale enterprise infrastructure - running a £2M ARR DevOps consultancy and leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams - before co-founding Kolsetu, where he builds AI systems that don't fail in environments where failure isn't an option.
Julia Bonke is a Hamburg-based founder and educator. With LearnForTomorrow, she runs AI literacy courses for students and teachers at German schools. Before that, she co-founded Communication Bridge, an EdTech SaaS that used AI to adapt learning materials to different literacy levels. How society adapts to AI, and what opportunities and challenges that opens up, is what she thinks and works on every day.
