Data centers demand massive amounts of water and electricity - straining regional power grids, driving up utility bills and requiring fossil fuel generation to keep up with demand. In addition, it will exacerbate global warming - all for little to NO NEW JOBS.
In a region still recovering from a century of industrial pollution, we don't need another resource-hungry industry built without community input.
Join Breathe Project and our partners outside Bakery Square as industry leaders and elected officials gather inside. We'll rally for real accountability: transparent siting processes, protections for our air and water, and a say for the communities who'll actually live with the consequences.
