​About Lucy Shaw:

​Lucy is an energy investor, writer, and policy nerd. She is also researching a book about why we can't quit coal. She previously worked at Blackstone, BCG, the UN and the IFC, with roles in six continents. She has an MBA and MPA from Harvard where she was a Fulbright Scholar, and studied mechanical engineering at the University of Melbourne. More at lucyfshaw.com

​About Charlotte Kirk:

​Charlotte is a climate-tech investor and operator experienced across industrial decarbonisation and the energy transition. She was previously Head of Technology at Fortescue and led European investments at Clean Energy Ventures. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, where she was an academic scholar developing renewable fuels and products. She was also the first female in the British Army’s infantry and is a North Face sponsored endurance athlete who has competed at World Championship's across Ironman triathlons, ultramarathons, and cross-country skiing.
